Abraham Lord sold 30 acres to George A. Brown on Nov. 6, 1886 (1185:225). The Browns built an imposing brick Mansard with bold white wood detailing. Key elements which remain intact are alternating quoins, a fine entrance porch, and a round-headed, double-leaf door.
