The Old North Burying Ground on High Street in Ipswich was established in 1634 upon the founding of the town, and is one of the oldest cemeteries in North America.

Cathy Bittner, am looking for grave site of Phillip Fowler he was my 10th great grandfather and settled in Ipswich in 1634 have found a lot about him in the town but nothing on where he was buried he died June 24, 1679. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you
The location of the interment of Phillip Fowler 1 is unknown, but we do have the tombstone, probably his son, listed at E-13 “Here lyes intarred what was mortall of Mr. Philip Fowler who died November the 16th, 1715, aged 67, wanting 39 days.” Here’s a link to the gravestone: https://images.findagrave.com/photos/2011/300/35956046_131983073347.jpg

There is nothing in our records for Joseph Kimball at the Old North Burying Ground, but he is listed in the Vital Records of the town. https://ma-vitalrecords.org/MA/Essex/Ipswich/Images/Ipswich_B217.shtml
My ancestor Robert Kinsman is buried here.
