Thank you Gordon Harris for posting these…a bit easier to imagine the “good old days” many (many…) years ago when my Kimball ancestors lived in Ipswich. My favorite might be the horse drawn sleigh in the middle of Market Street. And the First National Grocery Store! We had one of those in Branford, CT in the 1950’s when I was a girl.
Glad you didn’t break your proverbial neck shoveling snow off your roof. That was surely the worst snowfall records in modern time. All the houses on my street here in Lexington, MA had ice dams, leaks, etc etc. Best wishes, Judy Parker Cole
