A series of portraits celebrating people who stuck their necks out is back in Ipswich for the month of October 2020. Called “Americans Who Tell the Truth,” the work will be on display in Zumi’s on Market St., and the schools for the month of October. All were painted by Robert Shetterly, an artist living in Maine.
Unlike the last portraits to hit town in June 2019, this batch of 38 consists of prints, not originals, said organizer Meryl Baier. Asked if all 38 would fit in Zumi’s, she laughed. “It’ll be crowded.”
