4 Maple Avenue, the Arthur H. and Madeline H. Tozer house (1915)
The house at 4 Maple Ave. was built between 1910 and 1916. Arthur Tozer was head of the music department for the Ipswich public schools for several decades, into the 1950s.
Prior to construction of this house, land on which it stands was part of a larger parcel belonging to George Tozer.
